You explained this in such a lovely way! I'm definitely guilty of beating myself up, which often makes things only worse. So recently I've started a practice inspired by Elizabeth Gilbert's substack of writing myself letters from love and it really helps me to soften and accept whatever I'm feeling in the moment. Ooh yes I will check out both of these! I really love that practice of writing letters you yourself but I haven't thought of it or done it for a while (and could use it at the moment!), so I'm glad you mentioned it. Thanks for the lovely comment, I feel the beginnings of community forming 🤗

Oh that's great! I'm curious to hear how you feel after writing yourself a letter from love. For me the effect was instant and very noticeable.
